Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication — we never see your plaintext password).
Business data: We store the time entries, mileage logs, per diem records, project information, and invoice data that you and your team enter into ContractLog. This data belongs to you.
Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card or bank account details — Stripe handles this securely on our behalf.
Usage data: We may collect basic usage information such as login timestamps and feature usage to improve the service. We do not track or sell your browsing behavior.
We use your information to provide and operate the ContractLog service, authenticate your account, process your subscription payments, respond to your support requests, and improve the service over time. We do not use your data for advertising.
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore), which provides enterprise-grade security and encryption. Access to your data requires authentication — we enforce strict access controls so that users can only access data they are authorized to see.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the service (such as Firebase and Stripe), but only to the extent necessary to provide the service. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and security practices.
We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to a valid legal request.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account and request deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons.

ContractLog uses minimal cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
